Harper grew up at the southern end of California’s Central Valley. They attended UC San Diego where they earned a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science. After a brief stint in the San Diego electronics industry, they departed from the corporate world to spend a few years farming in Pennsylvania before returning to the familiar surroundings of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. In their free time, Harper enjoys running and riding around Nevada County, whether to go see the latest movie or just take in the landscape.
