After a year of working as the Water Quality Lab Manager, Grayson Carlile has decided to transition to farming full time at Starbright Acres Family Farm in Grass Valley. We will miss Grayson at Sierra Streams, but are glad he is pursuing his love of farming in the area!
From Grayson: “My favorite parts of the job were getting to be out and intimate with our local watersheds, working with so many exceptional volunteers, and most of all – getting the opportunity to work with such a smart, fun, and supportive group of co-workers. I will miss the crew here more than anything!”
Good luck Grayson!
We are excited to welcome Chloe Tremper back on board as the new lab manager! Chloe was an AmeriCorps member with Sierra Streams in 2017-18, after which she spent time working with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and adventuring around the West. In her free time Chloe enjoys backpacking, whitewater rafting and kayaking, crocheting, and funk concerts. Now back at Sierra Streams, Chloe is excited to work with the volunteers and dive deeper into the world of water chemistry. Welcome back, Chloe!
