Erin Andrew

Forest Ecologist

(530) 470-6037

Erin was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. She earned a B.S. from Alverno College in Milwaukee, and an M.S. in Environment and Natural Resources from Ohio State University. In graduate school, she studied compositional change of understory flora on the Wayne National Forest. Her introduction to Sierran forests was as a crew lead on the Stanislaus, Eldorado, and Plumas National forests in 2018, and she is thrilled to be in her current role as Forest Ecologist with SSI in light of the unique challenges that forests are facing in the area. In her free time, Erin can be found botanizing, cooking new recipes, trail running, and dipping her toes into rock climbing.
