Sam Bell

Sam grew up in the Bay Area and has a background in science communication and museum exhibit design. She has a masters in Maritime Archaeology where she fell in love with communicating science and cultural resources management to the public. She moved to Nevada City in 2020 and started at Sierra Streams Institute as an outdoor educator for the Our Forest program. She spent three years working for California State Parks before returning to Sierra Streams as our Community Engagement Coordinator. When she is not at work, she can be found riding her mountain bike, camping or creating art with glass.
