Alex Palm lives in Grass Valley and joins the Sierra Streams Institute board with an extensive career in science technology and a background in analytical sciences. Alex understands the value in data-driven analysis and scientific inquiry, which provides a valuable perspective on the Institute’s critical work in watershed monitoring, research, and restoration. Passionate about the Nevada County community, Alex is dedicated to protecting our shared natural resources. He is committed to supporting the Institute’s mission of using science to ensure a sustainable, high-quality of life for our people and all of nature. As a resident of Nevada County, he is deeply committed to the stewardship of our local environment—from the forested ridges to the flowing streams that are the lifeblood of our region.
