John Duff is the Executive Director of Programming at Common Goals, a community based Substance Use Disorder treatment center. John moved to Nevada County in 2000, and has been battling brush on the San Juan Ridge ever since. He recently became involved with Sierra Streams Institute after completing the Cal Naturalist course last spring. He hopes to continue to learn about watershed and forest management in order to be a good steward of the land, and to share the love of learning about the environment with others.
