Peter Hollingshead graduated from CSU Sacramento with a BS in Environmental Science and a minor in Statistics. He has focused on issues concerning the intersection between conservation and society, environmental water quality, and restoration ecology. He moved to Grass Valley in 2018 with a background in auto mechanics with the intention of raising a family that recognizes their niche among the natural world. Peter hopes to share his passion for environmental equity and the stewardship of the foothills through his volunteer work with SSI. On any given weekend, you can find Peter exploring the foothills, tinkering, or foraging for fungi.
